KEY PEOPLE

Kyle Skipworth – Founder and Managing Director: Kyle is a highly skilled electrician with more than 13 years of commercial and industrial experience. With an 11 year background in the Military and Defence Force and 4 years with the Department of Justice, Kyle is a very dedicated, disciplined and shows great leadership to all his employees. Then establishing Power Solutions Tasmania (PST) in 2018, Kyle’s customer-oriented approach and consistently high standard of workmanship and project delivery has earnt PST a valued name in the Electrical trade.

Taryn Brown – Head of HR and Accounts: Taryn is an experienced manager. Drawing on her financial and office management background, Taryn is committed to providing superior service and is dedicated to contributing to PST’s success.

Cam Mason - Operations Manager: We have started off 2026 with a big bang - Cam our new Operations Manager has joined the team. With over 15 years of experience across the electrical industry and a background as a qualified electrician, Cam has held senior operational leadership roles responsible for driving performance, safety compliance, and team capability. As Head of Operations at Power Solutions Tasmania, he leads day-to-day operations and works closely with the team to strengthen project delivery, improve workflows, and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients. Cam’s disciplined, safety-first approach and focus on accountability and continuous improvement strongly align with PST’s commitment to reliability, professionalism, and long-term client relationships.

Haydon Cook – Communications Specialist: Haydon is an accomplished, results-oriented Communications Specialist with 20+ years of experience directing large and small projects. He is recognised for his ability to identify, design and deploy innovative technologies that result in improved systems, increased production and cost efficiencies.

Josh Nichols – Supervisor: Josh is an experienced Electrician with a wealth of knowledge in the Electrical residential industry. He has more than 15 years experience and is highly driven and dedicated to delivering the final product to our customers satisfaction. His commitment to his team and co-workers is second to none.

Tom Allcock – Supervisor: Tom possesses a strong ability to identify the approaches, schedules, and tools to ensure project deadlines are met. This is demonstrated in his consistent track record of achieving operational objectives at every project. Tom prides himself on client satisfaction and has vast knowledge of all aspects of both residential and commercial spaces.
